If you are shopping for a family sized crossover, Nissan has a great one in the 2015 Pathfinder. Come down to Benton Nissan of Oxford, AL and test drive the whole Nissan family lineup, from the Rogue to the Quest minivan. Our friendly staff is standing by, and we’re just a short drive from Anniston, and the surrounding countryside.
The 2015 Honda Pilot is also a good family crossover, but looking closely at these 2 competitors reveals the Pathfinder is better in a few key areas.
Even if you have a large family, you still want a car that’s gas-savvy and easy on the environment. The Nissan Pathfinder beats the Honda Pilot in EPA fuel economy, both city and highway, by 2 mpg. The Nissan continuously variable transmission works to get you an even 20 mpg city and 27 on the highway.
These 2 crossovers are nearly the same size outside, but the Pathfinder has an extra 4 cubic feet of passenger room. Nissan puts it to good use, with more legroom where you need it most, in the 1st and 2nd rows. The 3rd row of the Pathfinder does have slightly less legroom than the Pilot, but it’s just by 1.5”.
Both of these crossovers have strong V6 motors to get you and the family where you need to go. The 3.5 liter in the Nissan provides a power advantage of 10 horsepower over the Honda though. Combined that with the Pathfinder’s CVT transmission and the Pilot is almost a second slower going from 0-60 mph. The extra power also lets the Nissan tow a full 5,000lbs, 500 more than Honda suggests you pull with the Pilot.
For an efficient, roomy, crossover that will fit the whole family, come down to Benton Nissan and take the 2015 Pathfinder for a spin. We’re right here in Oxford, AL and easy to get to from Anniston too.View Inventory
